'Welcom Relief' owners Kerry and Helen Welsh

As the CEO and founder of WelCom Products, Kerry Welsh has been supplying top-quality products to the world's largest retailers since 1998 including Wal-mart, Costco, Sears, Sam's Club, Amazon.com and many others.

Welsh's first worldwide product success was the 'WearEver Backpack Chair', which combined a chair with a backpack and revolutionized the way people go to the beach.

His next product, the 'Magna Cart' personal hand truck, became an even bigger success and is sold by the biggest retailers in the US as well as sales on every continent.

But there was no product in any store that could help his wife Helen with a crippling sciatica condition that shot painful jolts down both legs. Helen was 40 years old and the picture of perfect health—except for the fact that she could barely walk.

As fate would have it, a chiropractor in their hometown of Redondo Beach, CA had invented a product called 'Spinal Stretch.' The unique device had relieved back pain in hundreds of Dr. David Starr's patients, and word of mouth demand was growing by the day.

Dr. Starr knew nothing about marketing and manufacturing on a larger scale however, so he turned to Kerry Welsh for advice.

Welsh had little interest in the odd-looking 4 lb device until his wife reminded him of her 'hopeless' sciatica and asked if she could try it.

Less than two weeks later Helen Welsh was pain-free and her rather surprised but grateful husband agreed to help Dr. Starr. Always the skeptic, Welsh thought his wife's miraculous improvement might have been a fluke or a placebo effect. So for several months Welsh immersed himself in learning about back pain and spinal decompression-- even traveling to meet with world-renowned neurosurgeons to learn their opinions.

Eventually Welsh came to the conclusion that his wife's transformation was not atypical and that Spinal Stretch could indeed relieve low back pain for millions of sufferers around the world. A new company called WelCom Relief was formed, and the rest, as they say, will hopefully someday be history.
